Frequently Asked Questions
The NF461 standard ensures a reliable audit trail thanks to the traceability of each action and chronological event on the document.
It also guarantees the integrity of your documents. They are linked and logged. At any time, the system can determine whether the document has been altered or not using this information.
The standard also requires archiving in two data centers more than 300 km apart (at Stratow, our Jaguar Network data centers are in Marseille and Lyon). However, to ensure additional security, Stratow performs a daily backup in an OVH data center in Gravelines.
The standard also guarantees archiving for the entire legal retention period of the document (e.g., for an invoice --> 10 years).
There are several reasons why investing in a document archiving system can be beneficial.
First, a well-designed archiving system can help you improve the management and organization of your documents, which can save you time and money in the long run.
Furthermore, a good archiving system can also help you protect your documents from loss or damage, which can be especially important if you work in a field where documents are sensitive or critical.
Finally, investing in an archiving system can also help you comply with archiving laws and regulations, which can be important for avoiding lawsuits or fines.
In the archiving agreement signed when you subscribed to Stratow, you have a clause allowing you to enable the reversibility of your archives.
When you activate this clause, Stratow undertakes to return your entire archives, including all their metadata, in a pivot format within two months, before their complete destruction from our servers.
Stratow has chosen to store the archives on French servers in Lyon and Marseille at Jaguar Network (via gray fiber).
Our PRA-PCA site is also in France, at OVH in Gravelines.
Since the standard requires us to store them in two data centers more than 300 km apart, we have chosen the Lyon and Marseille sites for the main servers where all your archives will be duplicated and logged.
In addition, every 24 hours, all archives arriving that day will be sent to our backup site in Gravelines.
